This course will be devoted to the practice of writing and speaking in French.
In this course, we will work simultaneously on the commentary, the written presentation and the oral presentation. Students will learn to analyze a document (short texts; iconographic documents), to comment on it in a coherent and structured way (introduction, development based on examples, conclusion and expression of a point of view). They will then have to present orally in front of the class.
Each presentation will be followed by a group discussion. At the end of the term, students will have the opportunity to prepare and then present a document of their choice. The course work documents will be chosen by the teacher and distributed in class.

Ce cours sera consacré à la pratique de l'écrit et de l'oral en français.
Dans ce cours, nous travaillerons simultanément le commentaire, l'exposé écrit et la présentation orale. Les étudiants apprendront à analyser un document (petits textes ; documents iconographiques), à le commenter de façon cohérente et structurée (introduction, développement s'appuyant sur des exemples, conclusion et expression d'un point de vue) Ils devront ensuite le présenter oralement devant la classe.

Chaque présentation sera suivie d'une discussion en groupe. En fin de trimestre, les étudiants auront la possibilité de préparer puis présenter un document de leur choix. Les documents de travail des douze premiers cours seront choisis par l'enseignant et distribués en classe.
