【Course Objectives】

The aim of this course is to understand not only the history of Europe but also how French literature works are visualized in plays, films, operas, musicals, ballet, etc.

【Course Contents】

Students will first read "Dom Juan", a 17th century French comedy by Molière.
Then, they will examine films, operas, musicals and ballet works to understand the essence of the "Dom Juan" legend.
