The goal of this course is to acquire basic knowledge and methods for researching modern Japanese literature, and to cultivate the ability to construct logical sentences and give oral presentations.
In the first through fourth sessions, we will use a lecture format to explain the skills for reading literary works as objects of research.
Specifically, how to analyze literary texts, how to research articles and other literature, how to prepare presentation materials, and how to make oral presentations.
In the fifth and subsequent sessions, students will make presentations and engage in general discussions. In the first through fourth sessions, we will use a lecture format to explain how to read literary works as objects of research (rather than book reports).

日本近現代文学を研究するための基礎的な知識・方法を身につけ、論理的な文章の構築力、口頭発表をする力を養うことを目標とする。

第１回から第４回まで、授業に参加するためのスキルについて講義形式で説明する。
具体的には、「資料・文献の検索・収集方法」「発表内容の構成の仕方」「発表資料の作り方」「口頭発表のやり方」である。
第５回からは、テキストの作品を受講者で分担し、演習形式で発表・討議を行う。
