Students can get the summary of "Utsuho Monogatari" by reading this story. In the process, we will learn how to do basic research and write a paper on classical Japanese literature.
"The Tale of Genji" is greatly influenced by "Utsuho Monogatari", which was written before "The Tale of Genji".In this class, we will understand the summary of "Utsuho Monogatari". We will try to understand its similarities and differences with other stories. We will also learn about the Heian culture.

『うつほ物語』を読解することで、『うつほ物語』の概要を理解する。さらに、そうした読解を通じて、古典研究の基礎的な資料の研究方法、レポート作成について学ぶ。
Students can get the summary of "Utsuho Monogatari" by reading this story. In the process, we will learn how to do basic research and write a paper on classical Japanese literature.
『源氏物語』はそれ以前に成立した『うつほ物語』から大きな影響を受けている。本授業では、『うつほ物語』のあらすじを確認することで、他の物語との類似や違いを理解し、この物語の特質を理解する。さらに、そうした過程で、平安時代の文化についても学ぶ。
