【Course Contents】

In this seminar, we focus on addressing social challenges through business, covering three main elements: theoretical knowledge, statistical analytical skills, and practical skills. First, we review literature on theories and frameworks related to business and social challenges in group readings, deeply exploring their background and applications. Next, students learn the process of data collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination through actual case studies, mastering the basics of statistical analysis.

Furthermore, through participation in a contest related to social business, students will have the opportunity to experience and learn business model construction. The contests will offer the opportunity to engage in the entire process of creating, implementing, and evaluating business plans for social problem-solving, fostering the ability to apply learned theories and analytical methods in the real world. Through these integrated approaches, students are expected to deepen their understanding of the power of business in social problem-solving and enhance their communication and teamwork abilities.

The sophomore seminar aims to build a basic understanding and skills for solving social problems through business. By combining theory and practice, we will focus on acquiring a rudimentary awareness and basic skills for social problem-solving business, and lay the foundation for future learning.
