Oral translation of the latest world economic theory introductory texts will be used to help students gain the basic vocabulary of economic English, improve their translation skill, and deepen their understanding of the latest world economic situation. Students become thoroughly versed in the technical aspects of international finance.
The text covers up to the events in 2019, but during the lecture students will not only orally translate these but will also strive to update the information with surrounding circumstances and latest information. There will be a final exam at the end of the course. This time students will give oral translations of §17 Barbarians at the Gate? Private Equity Investors, Venture Capitalists, and High-Frequency Traders, §18 The Twenty-First-Century Company and the first half of§19 How is the Digital Economy Transforming the World? from the text.

学生が、最新の世界経済論入門書の訳読を通じて経済英語の基礎語彙を習得し，翻訳のスキルを高めるとともに，最新の世界経済事情に関する理解を深める。国際金融の技術的側面に精通する。

テキストは2019年の諸事態までをカバーしているが，講義ではそれを単に訳読するだけでなく，周辺事情や最新事情も含めてアップデートすることに努める。今回はテキストの§17 Barbarians at the Gate? Private Equity Investors, Venture Capitalists, and High-Frequency Traders, §18 The Twenty-First-Century Companyおよび§19 How is the Digital Economy Transforming the World?の前半を訳読する。

テキスト中の不明な語句と事項を予め調べ，各自で訳文を作成してから講義に臨むこと。予習はインターネットが使える環境で行うことが望ましい。ネット上の情報は選別する必要があるが，本講義の予習は英和辞典だけでは到底無理である。また、JapanKnowledgeや新聞社のDBなど、大学のアカウントで利用可能な有料DBを積極的に利用すること。授業時間外の学習に関する指示は，必要に応じて各回の授業中に指示する。
