【Course Objectives】

Students gain an understanding from a historical perspective of the process that formed the foundation of the contemporary American economy.
In addition to students becoming able to explain the individual matters raised during the lecture, by understanding the factors behind that formation and their results and impact they will gain the ability to deeply consider contemporary economic society.

【Course Contents】

This course focuses on the United States of America from the colonial period through the founding of the country until the late 19th century when it established a domestic market that surpassed that of Europe while following a chronology to look at the economic phenomena that occurred during that time to explain the development process of the American Economy.
