【Course Objectives】

The object of this course is to acquire basic knowledge of agriculture and food issues from an economic perspective. Mainly focused on 1) land economy, 2) domestic and global food system, 3) farm production practice and its business management.

【Course Contents】

This course discusses agriculture and food issues mainly on the market mechanism of farm product, international trade theory, farm management and production cost, external economy and diseconomy of farming, development of the food industry and food safety efforts.
