Critical study on trade theory by comparing neo-classical model with real trade.
Students will study basic trade model such as Ricardian Model and Heckscher-Ohlin Model. However these models often do not explain the complexity of the real world. You will understand why the real world does not work according to economic models. Students will also study problems caused by free trade, such as unemployment, environmental distruction and trade friction. Finally students will study the latest trade theory of Yoshinori Shiozawa.

基本的な貿易理論と現実世界の貿易を比較しつつ、貿易理論を批判的に学ぶ。
Critical study on trade theory by comparing neo-classical model with real trade.
リカード・モデルやヘクシャー＝オリーン・モデルなど貿易論の基本的なモデルを学ぶとともに、経済学のモデルと現実世界との乖離を確認する。現実世界が理論通りにはならない理由は何故なのかを探求する。理論と現実とを比較し、失業、貿易摩擦など自由貿易が引き起こしてきた諸問題の原因を理解する。最新の貿易理論として、塩沢由典による多数国多数財の貿易理論の基礎も学ぶ。
