More than 40 years have passed since China opened up its reform system. Reform is the reform of state-owned enterprises, and openness is the introduction of foreign capital. By examining the history, reality, and interrelationships between economic growth (especially industrialization) and institutional change in China and understanding China's economic system, we can recognize the impact of China's economic growth on the world and the Japanese economy as a whole.
This lecture is based on historical, institutional, and political economics perspectives on the mechanisms and institutional reforms of economic growth in China, the world's second-largest economic power and Japan's largest trading partner. Specifically, we will take up the various problems facing China's economic system, which is shifting from high economic growth to low growth and stable growth, such as technological competition, economic growth, labor, the environment, and disparities, and give a lecture on the mechanisms, reality, and transformation of these problems.

中国の改革開放から40年以上が経過した。改革は国有企業などの改革で、開放は外資の導入である。中国における経済成長(とりわけ工業化)と制度変化の歴史、実態、および両者の間の相互関係を考察し、中国の経済システムについて理解することを通じて、中国の経済成長が世界全体や日本経済に及ぼす影響について認識することができる。
More than 40 years have passed since China opened up its reform system. Reform is the reform of state-owned enterprises, and openness is the introduction of foreign capital. 本講義では、世界第二位の経済大国であり、日本の最大貿易パートナーである中国における経済成長のメカニズムと制度改革について歴史的、制度的、政治経済学の視点に基づいて講義する。具体的には、高度経済成長から低成長・安定成長に転換しつつある中国の経済システムが直面しているさまざまな問題―技術競争、経済成長、労働、環境、格差など―を取り上げ、その発生メカニズム、実態、変容について講義する。
