【Course Objectives】

The goal of this course is to understand the mechanism and role of basic double-entry bookkeeping.

【Course Contents】

Double-entry bookkeeping is a system that makes it possible to provide useful accounting information to parties inside and outside a company by classifying, organizing, and recording complex corporate transactions based on a small number of transaction elements. In this course, students will learn the basic mechanism of double-entry bookkeeping. The lectures on the usefulness of financial statements and recent topics are given. Opportunities will be provided for students to work on problem exercises in class.
