・To be able to explain the basic concepts of financial statement audit to others by applying them to other areas.
・To be able to understand the framework of internal control and to be able to apply it to actual cases.
This class will explain the CPA audit, which can be said to be an infrastructure of economic society, not by relying on the legal system, such as "because it is determined by law or standards," but by explaining, in theory, "why such a profession exists and is practiced. Specific issues to be discussed include why auditing is necessary in the business society, the types of audits, how audits are performed, and the conceptual framework of internal control, which is closely related to auditing.

この授業は、経済社会のインフラとも言える公認会計士監査について、「法律や基準で決められているから」といった法制度に依拠した説明ではなく、理屈として「なぜそのような職能が存在して実務が行われているか」を説明する。具体的な論点として、監査は企業社会においてなぜ必要とされるのか、監査の類型にはどのようなものがあるのか、監査はどのように実施されるのか、監査と密接な関連がある内部統制の概念的な枠組みにはどのようなものがあるか、などを取り上げる。
