The objective of this course is to understand the basic knowledge of economic statistics and be able to conduct an analysis in accordance with fundamental data processing.
In this course basic economic statistics will be explained and Excel and statistical software will be used to learn how to conduct data processing using economic statistics. In this course students practice the process of gathering economic statistical data, processing the data, entering it into Excel and statistical software for analysis, and evaluating the analysis results.The statistical software will use "R", and will explain how to use basic command operations and use the R Commander.

経済統計の基礎知識の理解と基礎的な情報処理を伴う分析ができるようになること。
The objective of this course is to understand the basic knowledge of economic statistics and be able to conduct an analysis in accordance with fundamental data processing.
基本的な経済統計について説明するとともに、エクセルや統計ソフトなどを用いて経済統計を使った情報処理に関する演習を行う。経済統計データの収集から、データの加工とエクセルや統計ソフトへのデータの取り込み及び分析、分析結果を評価する一連のプロセスについて演習を行う。統計ソフトは「R」を使用する予定で、基礎的なコマンド操作やRコマンダーによる利用方法についても解説する。

予習：講義で取り扱う予定の経済統計についてインターネットや参考分析を基に予習する。
復習：講義で取り扱った経済統計に関連するニュースをインターネットで閲覧する。また、講義で取り扱ったデータを用いて講義とは別の分析を行ってみる。
