The objective of this course is to understand the basic concepts of microeconomics and use those basic concepts to be able to approach and analyze specific economic problems.
The lecture covers the introductory contents for microeconomics. Microeconomics is the field of study that examines how individual consumers and producers make their economic decisions and how the product price and transaction volumes are decided in the resulting market. In this class students consider such problems as how the supply and demand actions in the market determine the product price and transaction volume, how that affects the formation of consumers and producers, and what impact the various regulations and taxes, etc., of the government have on the economy.

ミクロ経済学の基本的な考え方を理解すること、そのミクロ経済学の基本的な考え方を使って、経済の具体的な問題にアプローチし、分析できるようになること
The objective of this course is to understand the basic concepts of microeconomics and use those basic concepts to be able to approach and analyze specific economic problems.
ミクロ経済学の入門的な内容を講義する。ミクロ経済学とは、個々の消費者や生産者がどのような経済的な意思決定を行っているのか、その結果として市場において商品の価格や取引量がどのように決まっているのかなどを分析する学問である。この授業では、市場における需要と供給の作用がどのように商品の価格や取引数量を決定しているのかや、その時に消費者や生産者の厚生がどうなるのか、また政府の様々な規制や税などは経済にどのような影響を与えているのか、などの問題を考える。
