This course aims to understand the significance of looking at the modern economy from a macroeconomic perspective and how income and employment are determined based on Keynesian macroeconomic theory.
Introductory Macroeconomics 1 provides a basic introduction to Keynesian macroeconomic theory. In addition to understanding the meaning and content of macroeconomic indicators, the course systematically addresses issues such as how GDP and other factors are determined, why unemployment occurs, and the theoretical basis for monetary and fiscal policy.

現代社会を取り巻くさまざまな経済問題とかかわらせながら、マクロ経済学の基礎を学ぶ。経済をマクロの視点で見ることの意義を理解し、ケインズ的なマクロ経済学の理論に基づいて、所得や雇用がどのように決まるのかを理解できるようになることを目標とする。
This course aims to understand the significance of looking at the modern economy from a macroeconomic perspective and how income and employment are determined based on Keynesian macroeconomic theory.
初級マクロ経済学1では、ケインズ的なマクロ経済学理論の基礎を学ぶ。マクロ経済指標の意味と内容を理解するとともに、GDPなどがどのように決まるのか、失業はなぜ生じるのか、金融・財政政策の理論的基礎はどのようなものなのかなどといった問題を体系的に扱う。
Introductory Macroeconomics 1 provides a basic introduction to Keynesian macroeconomic theory. In addition to understanding the meaning and content of macroeconomic indicators, the course systematically addresses issues such as how GDP and other factors are determined, why unemployment occurs, and the theoretical basis for monetary and fiscal policy.

マクロ経済学は理論を扱うため、理論的思考の積み重ねが重要である。毎回の講義の内容を十分な時間をかけて復習し理解していなければ、次回以降の講義が理解できなくなる。予習は、テキストの該当箇所を何度も読んでおくこと。 授業内で示す参考文献・資料等も積極的に活用すること。
