In Denmark, many socioeconomic indicators of quality of life, such as high social equality, high level of trust in government and society, and maintenance of work-life balance, are high in international comparisons. What elements are necessary to realize such a society?

This seminar will start with an understanding of Danish society in terms of its history, culture, and contemporary economic and social conditions.
