【Course Objectives】

To acquire the following skills for understanding economies and cultures in United States.
1. The ability to discuss the economy and business in English
2. The ability to understand and adapt to multicultural societies

【Course Contents】

In the spring semester class, as preparatory learning, students will read and listen materials about the economy and company management in the United States. Also, students will study English writing and conversation skills.

While studying in the United States, student will join in an experiential learning class at Portland State University. Here, students typically rotate between one day of typical class and then a “Field Study” excursion. The students will give a presentation on their research projects during the final week.
