Learn about fundamental properties of polytopes and ring-theoretic properties of the Ehrhart ring.
The Ehrhart ring arising from an integral polytope is studied from different perspectives, for example, combinatorics and commutative rings etc.
In its first half, learn about definition of integral polytopes and its fundamental properties. In its latter half, explain about a definition of the Ehrhart ring and its ring-theoretic properties.

多面体の基本的概念及びエルハート環の環論的性質について学ぶ。
Learn about fundamental properties of polytopes and ring-theoretic properties of the Ehrhart ring.
整凸多面体に付随するエルハート環は、組合せ論・可換環論など様々な観点から研究が行われている。本講義では前半は整凸多面体の定義やその基本的性質について学び、後半ではエルハート環の定義及びその環論的性質について解説する.
