The aim of this course is to understand complex analysis for physics problems.
Complex differentiable functions as known as holomorphic functions have a lot of useful mathematical properties. We learn some theorems relating to them and their applications to calculate definite integrals of real functions on the real domain.

複素領域における関数について理解する。複素関数には正則関数と呼ばれる特別な種類の関数が存在し、正則関数に関する様々な積分定理（留数定理など）を使うことで、これまで学んだ知識だけでは計算することが難しいような、様々な定積分が比較的簡単に計算できるようになる。留数定理を利用した実関数の定積分の計算手法をマスターすることが、授業の目標となる。
The aim of this course is to understand complex analysis for physics problems.
複素数の復習から始めて、実関数から複素関数への拡張を考える。その複素関数の微分可能性から正則関数の概念が導入され、具体例を通して複素関数の微分を理解する。そして、実関数の線績分を復習しつつ、複素領域の積分を考える。正則関数の積分定理、特に留数定理を利用して、実関数の積分と複素関数の積分との関係を明らかにし、実数領域では困難な定積分を複素領域での積分として捉えて計算する方法を学ぶ。後半では複素領域における微分方程式、解析接続などについて解説する予定。

線形代数、複素数、微分積分の知識は必須。特に複素関数は実2変数関数と密接に関係するので、多変数に関する微分積分（偏微分・方向微分・線積分）を十分に理解しておく必要がある。この授業の補足となる演習科目は用意されていないので、演習書等を使って自ら進んで学習することが強く期待される。
