・フィールドワークを通して様々な人々と出会い、かれらの生きられた経験とその社会的背景を理解するとともに、自分自身の生（life）を見つめ直す。
・卒業論文の基礎を固める。
・Students will meet various people through ethnographic fieldwork, understand their lived experiences and their social contexts. Furthermore, students will reexamine their lives.
・Students are expected to develop basic skills of writing graduate thesis.
・専門演習２A・２Bから続く卒業論文を視野に入れつつ、フィールドワークの基本を体験的に学ぶ。夏休みに行った調査をもとにグループごとに論文を執筆、年度末に報告書を完成させる。
・とくにライフストーリー研究の手法・視点に重きを置く。調査相手を単なる情報提供者として扱うのではなく、その人のライフ（人生、暮らし、人柄、生き方…）に迫ることが大切である。それは自分自身のライフ、および自らが生きている社会のあり方への洞察を深めることにつながる。
・Based on the field research conducted during the summer vacation, students will write a thesis and complete the report at the end of the academic year.Students are expected to develop basic skills for writing graduate thesis. ・In this seminar, we will especially focus on methodology of the life story research. It is important to build relationships with others, and listen to their own lives with sincerity. Through dialogues with others, we can also understand ourselves and the society we live.
