This course aims to examine social issues and develop insights into their backgrounds through gender/sexuality perspectives.
Common beliefs around gender and sexuality can have various effects on individuals and society, frequently excluding particular social groups and resulting in significant social problems. Students will conduct their own research using what they learned during the spring semester. It is expected of every student to choose a social phenomenon to observe, generate a research question from a gender/sexuality perspective, carry out research, analyze the results, and submit an essay.

ジェンダー／セクシュアリティの視点から現代社会の課題をとらえ、その背景を分析、考察する力を身につける。
This course aims to examine social issues and develop insights into their backgrounds through gender/sexuality perspectives.
性をめぐる固定観念や規範は、個人の経験や社会のしくみに様々な仕方で影響を与え、ときに特定の社会集団を排除したり、深刻な社会問題を生じさせたりしている。この授業では、「専門演習2A」での学習を踏まえ、個人研究を行う。各自で観察する社会現象を選び、ジェンダー／セクシュアリティの視点から問いを設定し、調査、分析をする。その成果をまとめたゼミ論文を執筆する。
