【Course Contents】

In order to be able to think about "environmental problems" with one's own mind, heart, and body, instead of relying on the opinions of experts and news reports on "environmental problems," it is essential to acquire a perspective on "environmental problems" from a cultural perspective.
In this class, important research results in environmental sociology and related fields will be introduced and explained to answer the question, "Why should we view 'environmental problems' from a cultural perspective?"
This is an interactive class where the lecturer prepares original teaching materials based on fieldwork in "environmental issues" and asks the students for their opinions while projecting the materials on a projector (or sharing the screen via Zoom).
