Each student sets up his/her own theme for the graduation thesis on the basis of empirical studies, gathering basic materials and establishing a research plan. In this Semester, each student must create a concrete schedule for preparing the dissertation.
Each student must construct one's own theme and framework for the dissertation on the basis of theories of Sociology and other relevant literature, including information regarding the research area. In semester I, students report on the progress of their research each time and prepare for the fieldwork which is expected to completed in semester II.

実証研究に基づき、卒業論文のテーマを設定，参考資料の整理および調査計画の作成を行う。また，論文作成の具体的なスケジュールを作成する。

個々の選んだテーマに関連する先行研究を整理する。社会学の基礎理論，関連する先行研究のまとめをもとに調査のフレームを構築する。対象となる地域や組織に関する情報を収集する。授業内では，先行研究のまとめ，調査計画や研究の進捗についての報告を行う。春学期中に調査計画書を作成し，秋学期前半に調査対象地でのフィールドワークの実施を目指す。
