Students will acquire basic knowledge through reading specialized literature related to media sociology, and acquire the ability to organize, summarize, and present the contents. Through these, students will be able to ask their own questions about the issues faced by contemporary media and society.
Students will read the common textbook in the first half, and some papers about sports and media in the second half.

メディア社会学に関する専門文献の読解を通じて基礎的な素養を習得するとともに、文献の内容を整理・要約・発表する力を身につける。それらにより、今日のメディアや社会が抱える課題について独自の問いを立てられるようにする。
Students will acquire basic knowledge through reading specialized literature related to media sociology, and acquire the ability to organize, summarize, and present the contents. Through these, students will be able to ask their own questions about the issues faced by contemporary media and society.
授業の前半では共通教材を、後半ではスポーツとメディアに関する文献を取り上げる。
