【Course Objectives】

Students will learn the basic knowledge and ways of thinking in media and communication studies through reading English literature. While improving their English reading skills, students will acquire the basic skills necessary for research (learning), such as writing resumes, making presentations, and discussing in seminar-style classes. In addition, students will acquire the ability to think and discuss bilingually in English and Japanese.

【Course Contents】

Students will learn the basics of media and communication studies by reading literature on media and communication studies. The course will proceed in such a way that students will be able to enhance their ability to think logically, critically, and independently while encouraging the students to be exposed to a variety of views and ways of thinking through the use of current materials such as news articles following the themes and topics covered.
