【Course Objectives】

We aim to enable analysis of social issues and phenomena of personal interest using a variety of data, including SNS (Twitter(X), etc.) and library information.
Literature surveys and accompanying fieldwork are also being considered.
Students will acquire diverse research skills and acquire skills for writing their graduation theses.

【Course Contents】

Information on the Web is becoming "visible" through numerical and textual information, transcending space-time constraints. The goal of this course is to examine and analyze the transition of the media that can constitute our social life and the changes in the information media that surround them, while learning various analytical approaches. Under the guidance of the faculty members, students will exchange views and opinions with fellow students who share the same awareness of the issues. Through this seminar, we hope to expand our understanding of various web-related research efforts.
Note: Please note that the subjects of analysis and approaches are subject to change depending on social conditions and other factors.
