Studying hobbyist activities from the viewpoint of media and communication
This course provides an opportunity to consider hobbyist activities so called serious leisure from the viewpoint of media and communication.
Students organize groups to collect data by themselves. students and discuss the result of each group research.

この専門演習は，シリアス・レジャーなどとも呼ばれる形で一定の知識や技術を要する、スポーツや工芸・芸能などの趣味的な文化活動について，メディアとコミュニケーションの観点から考えることを目的としている。
調査グループを構成して,データをオリジナルに収集しながら，実証的な研究結果について議論する。分析用のデータを整理するために，エクセルによるデータ入力と操作に慣れておくことがのぞましい。グループごとの作業時間を確保するため，こちらが指定したゼミ後の時間は空けておくこと。

サブゼミの時間に各グループでの発表準備や調査活動を行う。また履修者には，データベースの利用や,ビデオ分析・内容分析（テキストマイニング）の手法に基づいた調査を義務付ける。
