After learning the social role that the media, especially journalism, should play, we will train people who can think and act for themselves.
Calculating backwards from working in society, we will specifically develop the skills and ways of thinking that are required. With the slogans "Let's touch the real thing" and "The seminar is a place to practice," discussions with guest speakers who are active in the media, debates, watching videos, watching plays (after reading books and listening to the performers) , NHK STRL public tours, etc. What you practiced can be shared with seminar students in impressions, reportage, etc., and evaluated by all seminar students. Students will make individual presentations based on their own interests in the spring and fall semesters. In the fall semester, we will use the increased capacity to put it into practice in annual research presentations.

メディア、特にジャーナリズムの果たすべき社会的役割を学んだうえで，「自ら考え行動できる人」を育成する。
After learning the social role that the media, especially journalism, should play, we will train people who can think and act for themselves.
社会で働くことから逆算して、必要とされるスキル、考え方を具体的に養成する。「本物に触れよう」「ゼミは練習の場」を合い言葉に、メディアで活躍しているゲストスピーカーとの議論、ディベート、映像鑑賞、芝居鑑賞（本を読み、演者に話しを聞いたうえで）、NHK技研公開見学など様々な実践を行う。実践したものは感想、ルポルタージュなどでゼミ生で共有して、ゼミ生全員で評価する。専門演習２Ａ・専門演習２Ｂそれぞれで自分の関心に基づく個人発表を行う。専門演習２Ｂは増やしたキャパシティをもとに年間研究発表での実践につなげる。
