The aim of this course is to enable analysis of social issues and phenomena with personal interest using data on the Web.
Through this course, students are expected to examine literature research and accompanying field work. First of all, students are given an opportunity to learn about basic research and the current situation.
While approaching the target mainly by using the data science method as we touch on the history overview of the Web, students are expected to understand deeply by using available data such as newspaper articles and statistical materials. This course deals with a combination of class materials, texts, images, and videos. In addition, it progresses as we share the questionnaire results (real time) created by the class participants.

個人の関心を持つ社会課題・現象などに対してWeb上でのデータを用いた分析を可能とする。
文献調査や、それらに付随したフィールドワークなども検討している。まずは基礎的な研究・現状などを知っていただく機会にもする。

主として、Webの歴史概要に触れつつ、データサイエンス的手法を用いて対象に接近していくが、新聞記事や統計資料などの取得可能なデータなどを用い、理解を深めていく。授業資料及びテキスト・画像・映像などを組み合わせた内容となる。また、授業参加者で作成したアンケート結果(リアルタイム)を共有しながら進行する。
注意：分析対象などは、社会情勢などにより変更されることがあるので注意されたい。

毎週，Webアンケートを用いた課題を出し、翌週のゼミ時間にアンケート結果のデータと付随した情報を参照して意見交換を行う。
