【Course Objectives】

The aim of this course is to provide students with opportunities to present and discuss topics of media, communication, and journalism in the digital and global age.

【Course Contents】

This course is designed to introduce students to a range of perspectives, issues, and phenomena pertaining to the media in the digital age so that they can develop their own critical approach to understanding the relationship between media and society and the role of media. This course consists of lectures, discussions, and student presentations. The lecture and discussion will cover topics such as the media effect, the social construction of reality, the role of media and journalism, and AI. Students are required to engage in discussion actively.
