【Course Objectives】

The main objective of this course is to raise awareness among students about various issues that emerge from global political, economic and social trends and affect local communities. and to encourage them to think about such problems from different viewpoints.
Another objective is to, through the study of important terms from various fields, such as political science and economics, and brief debates, enable students to improve their ability to discuss political, economic, cultural and environmental issues.

【Course Contents】

While looking at how accelerated globalization has affected communities around the world, we shall examine the relationship between global conditions and changes on one hand, and various problems faced by local communities (such as political and military conflict, poverty, social and economic disparity, or environmental destruction) on the other.
