To acquire the knowledge and skills needed during the process of planning and writing an academic report for a research project.
Students will learn about how to conduct a research. This course will consider topics such as research questions, data collection and analysis, ethical issues, and academic report writing in communication studies.

研究計画から論文執筆に至るプロセスに必要な知識を得ること。実行可能な研究計画を書けるようになること。
To acquire the knowledge and skills needed during the process of planning and writing an academic report for a research project.
リサーチクエスチョン，研究対象の選定と倫理的問題，データの集め方，データの分析法，論文執筆までに必要な知識についての講義と演習。データ収集法として，観察法，インタビュー法，実験法，質問紙法を取り上げ，データの種類と分析法について，実際にデータをとり，分析をしながら学ぶ。
Students will learn about how to conduct a research. This course will consider topics such as research questions, data collection and analysis, ethical issues, and academic report writing in communication studies.

卒業論文など，自分でデータをとって分析して，論文にまとめるための練習です。すでに使いたいデータがある人は，それを使って課題をやっても構いません。まだテーマが決まらない人は，研究の進め方を学びながらじっくり考えていただければと思います。
資料配布や課題提出には，Canvasを利用します。授業毎の課題レポート，最終レポートともに，原則としてPDFファイルで提出していただきます。
提出物が多くてたいへんですが，一通りやってみると研究の進め方を理解していただけると思います。自分が知りたいと思うことを知る方法を知っていることは，これから何をするにしても何かしらお役に立てることと思います。研究は知への旅です。一緒に旅を楽しみましょう。
