【Course Objectives】

This course helps beginning students who are about to study law master the fundamentals of legal thinking while avoiding the use of specialized terms as much as possible.

【Course Contents】

What is "law?" What is the significance of studying "law?" The primary objective of the lectures is to think about these problems together with other newly entered students in the College of Law and Politics. Moreover, in order to achieve that objective, this course primarily targets students belonging to the Department of International Business Law and the Department of Politics with the goal of helping them achieve a general understanding of the full scope of lectures which will be available over the next four years as specialized subjects within the College of Law and Politics while blending in the characteristics of each field of study and introducing basic concepts. In addition, this course after all also aims to build a foundation for the prerequisite legal ability to think critically and legal communication skills while providing the absolute minimum level of legal knowledge required to take specialized law-related subjects.
