The goals of this course are to ensure that students are familiar with Blue Book style citations, the IRAC legal organizational style, and how to write using deduction to persuade their readers as a practicing Common Law lawyer would.
In this course students will learn about Stare Decisis and writing styles ordinarily implemented by lawyers across the globe, with a special focus on the American legal writing style. By necessity, this course will cover the differing strengths of precedents, statutes, and how to properly reference precedents.
※Please refer to Japanese Page for details including evaluations, textbooks and others.
