【Course Objectives】

The objective of this course is to develop a comprehensive understanding of the diverse array of political institutions and to examine their influence on the dynamics of political actor interactions.

【Course Contents】

To gain a comprehensive insight into the political process, it is imperative to examine the various rules employed in facilitating coordination amongst these actors.
At the commencement of each session, we will initiate critical inquiries such as, "How do electoral reforms shape campaign practices?", "In the absence of corporate contributions, what alterations might occur in the policy stances of political parties?", and "What are the fundamental differences between the roles of a president and a prime minister?" Our aim is to unravel these queries through an analytical exploration of the specificities and ramifications of different political institutions.
Please note that the topics related to the theoretical foundations and behavioral principles of political actors in order to comprehend the political processes will be addressed in the "Political Process 1", scheduled for the spring semester.
