The preamble to the Toshima Ward Ordinance on the Rights of the Child contains the following sentence.
"Dear children
You are the protagonist of your life
You can choose and decide what to do with your life.
If you fail, you can start over
If you have a problem, you can ask for help.
You are not alone.
We, adults, will stand in your shoes and listen to you.
Let's think together so that you can live your life as you are.
You are the only one in the world.
You are important and precious."
In the midst of cases of child abuse, what can the law and we do to realize the above declaration?
In this class, we will learn such things through classroom lectures and role-plays, aiming to develop human resources who can work together for the rights of children.
In the first half of the class, students will learn various laws related to children's rights in a classroom style. There is a possibility of group work, etc.
In the second half of the class, role-plays will be conducted on how to deal with cases of child abuse, etc., assuming that you are an employee of Toshima Ward in charge of child-related work, for example.
Please note that the dates and times of the classes are different from those of the regular classes.

豊島区子どもの権利に関する条例の前文には、次のような文章があります。
「子どものみなさん
あなたの人生の主人公は、あなたです
あなたのことは、あなたが選んで決めることができます

児童虐待などの事案が存在する中、上記宣言を実現するために、法そして私たちは何ができるでしょうか。
この授業では、そうしたことを座学およびロールプレイなどを通じて学び、子どもの権利のために協働することができる人材の育成を目指します。

授業前半では、子どもの権利に関連する様々な法を座学スタイルで学びます。グループワーク等を行う可能性もあります。
授業後半では、例えば自分が子ども関連の仕事を担当する豊島区職員になったとして、児童虐待等の事案にどう向き合うのかに関する、ロールプレイ等を行う予定です。
授業を行う日時が通常の授業とは異なることに注意してください。
