【Course Objectives】

The objective of this seminar is cultivate participants' ability to understand the politics, social problems, and international relations in Europe, to discuss and present on a specific topic in a group, and to write an academic report.

【Course Contents】

This seminar will consist of reading and discussion of the latest literature, research and presentation by individuals and groups, and writing a paper.The aim is to encourage participants to understand the problems that European countries and the EU facing, such as migration of people, the environment, welfare, conflicting values, war and security, and to conduct research on their own topic. The main topic in 2024 will be leadership in European countries and the EU. We will also invite guest speakers or guest participants from other universities.
