The target of this seminar is students who are considering working as a national civil servant as one of their career options after university.
The goal is for students to learn about and deepen their understanding of the realities of public administration so that they can have a concrete image of working in a national government agency.
The main content of this seminar is to read pamphlets and books written by "insiders" of the national administration. We also plan to do fieldwork in Kasumigaseki and invite several current civil servants to talk to us. The focus will be on national civil servants, especially those working in Kasumigaseki. Although we rarely deal with local public officials, we also welcome the participation of students who want to understand the differences between the work of local and national civil servants.

国家公務員を卒業後の進路の一つとして検討している学生が、実際の行政のあり方や活動を学んで理解を深め、国の行政機関、特に「霞が関」と呼ばれる本府省で働く具体的なイメージを持てるようになること。

国の行政の「中の人」が書いたパンフレットや書籍の輪読が主な内容です。霞が関のフィールドワークや現職の国家公務員（複数名）を招いて話を聞くことも予定しています。国家公務員、特に霞が関で働く公務員に焦点を当てます。地方公務員についてはほとんど扱いませんが、地方公務員と国家公務員の仕事の違いを理解して進路を考えたい学生の参加も歓迎します。
The main content of this seminar is to read pamphlets and books written by "insiders" of the national administration. | 授業計画はおよその目安なので、受講生の人数や関心、理解の進展等によって内容の変更もありうる。 ほぼ毎回、学生間の質疑応答やディスカッションを行う予定なので、積極的な受講態度を期待する。 |
国家公務員の採用パンフレットを読み、その概要をまとめる（第3回及び第4回予習）
担当する書籍の担当章を読み、その概要やそれに対する自身の疑問点や意見をまとめる（担当回予習）
授業で輪読する書籍を事前に読む（第5～7回及び第9～11回の予習）
ゲストスピーカーの講話によって理解を深めた内容について1,000字程度にまとめる（第14回予習）
毎回の授業後には、授業の内容を振り返り、内容に対する理解を深める。
その他、必要に応じて別途指示する。
