The goal of this course is to gain a basic understanding of international economic law through reading the main chapters of the "Unfair Trade Report" published every year by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. This report comprehensively analyzes the status of trade policies and measures in each country and region in light of the WTO Agreement, Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA), Free Trade Agreement (FTA), etc., and aims to reduce trade friction. In order to avoid confusion and emotional conflict in the debate, and to prevent it from turning into a political issue, it is important to understand what basis criticism and criticism of other countries' trade policies and measures have and evaluate them in light of internationally agreed rules.
Students will select a theme to be in charge of according to their own interests and will survey other article research and report on the theme. All students are required to study the relevant chapters of the Unfair Trade Report that correspond to the theme of each session, and to share their questions and comments in advance.

この科目では，経済産業省が毎年公表する『不公正貿易報告書』の主要チャプターの講読を通じて，国際経済法上の基本的な理解を得ることを目標とする。同報告書は、WTO 協定や、経済連携協定（EPA）、自由貿易協定（FTA）等に照らして、各国・地域の貿易政策・措置の状況を包括的に分析するものであり，通商摩擦を巡る議論の混乱と感情的な対立を避け、政治問題化させないためには、他国の貿易政策・措置に対する批判や非難が、国際的に合意されたルールに照らしてどのような根拠を持つかを理解し評価することが重要である。

履修者は，各自の興味・関心に沿って，担当するテーマを選択し，対象テーマについて，その他の文献調査と個別報告を行う。履修者全員が，各回のテーマに対応する不公正貿易報告書の関連チャプターを予習し，質問事項やコメントを事前に共有することが求められる。
