【Course Objectives】

The purpose of this class is to learn about the achievements of citizens in changing society through their various activities. It also aims to help students understand that they, as "citizens," are the agents of social change.

【Course Contents】

Citizens, who are relatively independent from the government and corporations, have been accumulating activities and have been steadily changing society. In light of this situation, this class will examine the nature of citizens as agents of social change by introducing the efforts of researchers, citizen activists and local authority representatives involved in a variety of fields, and will also examine efforts to accumulate records of such citizen activities.
For this purpose, we will invite as guest speakers citizens and local authority representatives who are active in various fields or researchers who have deep knowledge of such activities to examine the possibilities of various citizen activities.
