【Course Objectives】

The goal of this class are, relating to the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations, (1) to understand the current situation based on facts, (2) to learn what kind of efforts are being made to achieve the goals, and (3) to think about what you can do and develop the ability to act.

【Course Contents】

Regarding the theme of this class, we will invite people who are active in each field as guest speakers to talk about the latest topics.
This class is designed to be meaningful to the following students: (1) Students who are interested in SDGs, (2) Students who want to learn the relationship between SDGs and technology, economic society, legal system, etc. across academic fields, (3) Students who want to know practical efforts, and (4) Students who want to make use of it in their future career choices.
This class is supported by Professor Osamu Abe, a leading expert in ESD (Education for Sustainable Development), which is known as human resource development for promoting SDGs.
