【Course Objectives】

This course aims to help students understand the current state and issues of the world economy from the perspective of Latin America and the Caribbean and to understand its mechanism. This course is for beginners in economics and international relations.

【Course Contents】

In this course, students will learn the basic knowledge necessary to understand the world economy, including the markets, societies, cultures and lifestyles of Latin America and the Caribbean. This will help us to understand how this region is closely related to the world economy and Japan. We will also examine the problems of the world economy as seen from the "periphery" of the world.
