Learning law is not just about learning law skills, but developing the ability to think objectively and logically through interpreting law. In this course, we would like to take the events that occur around us, recognize that the constitution is very close to us, and consider various social issues from the viewpoint of ensuring human rights.
Classes will take the form of lectures and audiovisual materials will be used as appropriate. After learning about topics from the modern constitution to the establish of the Japanese Constitutional Law, we will provide lectures on pacifism and basic human rights, etc. using familiar examples. The specific contents are shown in the "Course Plan." In addition, regarding individual themes related to basic human rights, we would like to take up topical issues as much as possible, and examine them in detail, so please be aware in advance that the contents may differ from the course plan; that depending on the progress of the classes the themes may vary slightly; and that the themes may be limited due to time constraints.

法を学ぶということは，単に法技術を習得することではなく，法を解釈することを通して客観的・論理的に思考する能力を養うことである。本講義においては，われわれの周りに起こる出来事を取り上げ， 憲法がいかに身近であることを知覚し，さまざまな社会問題を人権保障の観点から考察していきたいと考える。

動画教材を利用しながらオンライン形式で授業を行う。近代憲法から日本国憲法の制定，象徴天皇制，平和主義について学んだあと，基本的人権に関する問題について，身近な事例を通じて講義する。具体的内容は，「授業計画」に示す。なお， 基本的人権に関する個別テーマについては，できるだけタイムリーな問題を取り上げ，掘り下げて検討を行いたいと考えるので，授業計画にあげた内容とは異なる場合があること，授業の進路状況によってはテーマが多少前後すること，時間の都合でテーマが限られることのあることをあらかじめ了承いただきたい。
