Taking into consideration factors such as urban development and urban culture in the Netherlands between the 15th-17th century, thecourse enables students to gain an understanding of the art that developed during this period.
Focusing on the art in the Netherlands between the 15-17th century, the course will consider factors such as urban development, theactivities of city dwellers, and urban culture which were closely connected to and had an immense impact on the art of that period.

Taking into consideration factors such as urban development and urban culture in the Netherlands between the 15th-17th century, thecourse enables students to gain an understanding of the art that developed during this period.
15－17世紀ネーデルラントにおける美術の流れについて、それに密接に結びつき、大きな影響を与えた都市の発展や都市民たちの活動、都市文 化等をふまえつつ講義する。
