Students will deepen their understanding of Japanese culture by deepening their knowledge about leading works and artists of Japanese art history by topics.
We will give an outline, explore, and look at the leading works of Japanese art from various angles, covering the subjects, artists, regions, fortune, and relation with literature and religion. We will appreciate Japanese art, understand its interest, and think about its characteristics. Also students will deepen their understanding of Japanese culture.

日本美術の代表的な作品、作者について宗教、主題、文学とのかかわりなどトピックごとに学びながら美術史的な知識を深め、日本文化への理解を深める。
Students will deepen their understanding of Japanese culture by deepening their knowledge about leading works and artists of Japanese art history by topics.
日本史や日本美術史の教科書に載ったり、広く紹介されている日本美術の代表的な作品を主題、作者、地域、吉祥性、文学や宗教との関わりなど様々な角度から概観したり、掘り下げたりして見ていきます。日本美術を多角的に捉えることによって、知識を深く定着させ、その面白さと特徴を考えます。合わせて日本文化への理解も深めます。

全体の予習として日本の歴史について関心を持ち、歴史の流れを学ぶ、もしくは思い出しておく。日本の中学校の社会科程度で結構です。
予習、復習として実際に日本美術を展示する博物館や美術館を訪問し、展示を見て作品に接する。

中学校で学習する日本の歴史の知識を必要とする。日本の歴史の知識がない場合は予習が求められる。
資料は教室で配布し、その後Canvas LMSでも配布する。授業内にリアクションペーパーを提出するため筆記用具が必要である。
