Through the lecture on various topics of psychology from the perspective of neuroscience, students should understand the connection between the psychological process and the central nervous system.
After providing fundamental knowledge about brain structure and function, we will pick up several themes of psychological research frequently studied using methodology of brain science, and lecture on various findings to date with introducing specific experiments. The aim is for students to acquire basic knowledge and to understand how modern brain science elucidates human mind.

心理学が扱う心の様々な側面を神経科学の視座から論じることにより，心の働きと中枢神経系とのつながりについて理解する。
Through the lecture on various topics of psychology from the perspective of neuroscience, students should understand the connection between the psychological process and the central nervous system.
まず，脳の構造と機能についての基本的な情報を提供する。その上で，心理学の研究分野の中でも特に脳科学からのアプローチが盛んないくつかのテーマを取り上げ，今日までに得られている知見を各論的に解説していく。その際，できるだけ具体的な事例や実験結果を紹介する予定である。基本的な知識を身につけるとともに，現代の脳科学がどこまで人の心の働きを解明しているのかについて理解することを目指す。
