In the history of Christianity, what we today call in a word "love" has been interpreted in several different concepts. We will begin by introducing the categories of love - Eros, Agape and Caritas - and then follow the various ways in which these different aspects of love are expressed in Christian thoughts.

・愛を意味する三つの概念「エロース」「アガペー」「カリタス」の内実を、代表的な思想家の思想内容とあわせて理解する。
・キリスト教における愛の多様性や豊かさについて学ぶ。

キリスト教の歴史において、今日私たちが「愛」と呼ぶものは、いくつかの異なった概念として理解されてきた。授業ではこれらの「愛」の区分――エロース、アガペー、カリタスについて紹介し、これらの異なる愛の側面が、キリスト教思想において、様々な色々な仕方で表現される様子を追っていく。
