【Course Objectives】

To expand knowledge about the infant mind by learning previous scientific findings regarding the early development of the mind. Students are expected to explore the answer to the question "what human mind is?" via comparisons between their own and infants' minds.

【Course Contents】

Do infants having no verbal ability have complex mind? Do we have any ability (or phenomenon) which can be defined as "mind" in very early stages in our lives? This lecture introduces various scientific findings regarding infant mind in the relevant research fields such as experimental psychology, developmental psychology, and neuroscience.
