This course is part of the Introduction to Academic Studies course branch. To think about one’s career is to think about their life. This course aims to have students think about where they will work, how they will live, and how they themselves will be once they enter society and become self-reliant. Additionally, the course aims to teach students fundamental knowledge regarding how to work for a Japanese business or organization.
As most students will likely work for a business in the future, this course will focus on how to work in a Japanese business or organization, especially in the fields of labor management and human resources management. We will discuss working styles at Japanese companies, working environment in Japan, etc. such as promotion, salary, working hours, work live balance, etc. Note that there may be small changes to the syllabus depending on the progress made.

この科目は、「学びの精神」の科目のひとつです。キャリアを考えることは、人生を考えることです。これから社会に出て、自立し、自分がどのように働き、どのように生きていくのか、これからの自分について考える授業を目指します。そして、日本の企業、組織での働き方について基礎的な知識を身に着けることを目標とします。

多くのみなさんが、将来、企業に勤めることが予想されるため、日本の企業や組織での働き方、とりわけ人事労務管理や人的資源管理の分野を中心に授業を展開していきます。昇進、給与、労働時間、ワークライブバランスなど、日本企業での働き方、日本の労働環境などを議論していきます。進捗状況により、授業計画が若干変更することがあります。
