【Course Objectives】

Students will deepen their understanding of their own body that they must live with for life, in this era of living to 100 years, and acquire the foundation of strength training and muscle conditioning literacy that can be used as a life skill for many years.

【Course Contents】

By learning the structure and mechanical characteristics of the human body that we are less conscious of in everyday life to promote "awareness of the body," we will aim to use strength training as a health management tool. Rather than focusing on the acquisition of motor skills, the emphasis will be placed on each student's entrance to the "quest for an ideal body" through discussion and sharing experiences among students. We will approach the following themes from various perspectives.

-Muscles have a multi layer structure, and it is important to work on deep muscles that cannot be touched from the surface.

-The muscles and joints of the whole body function as a system that influences each other, and the cause of pain and discomfort exists outside the relevant part.

-Understanding the importance of maintaining a constant awareness of one's own physical condition and adjusting it by oneself through strength training and stretching.
